Gopal Das, an ASI with Odisha police arrested for shooting state health minister Naba Das to death on January 29, claimed that he had stopped taking medication for his bipolar disorder for over two months. The move was reportedly to ‘build up’ the anger he had against the minister. The ASI, who has since been suspended, has stuck to the personal enmity angle for the crime.
